The next in my series of railway rambles will be a fairly demanding walk, including a hill or two. We will take the train from Amersham to Wendover (at 10:02, but see update e-mails for any changes), then walk along the south side of the Misbourne valley in the morning, passing through Great Missenden, then along the north side in the afternoon. Please bring lunch. Train from Amersham at 10:02 (TBC), or meet at Wendover at 10:15
Locating the walk - copy the grid reference SU963981 and then go to MultiMap, or The Ordnance Survey, and paste the reference into the search box. A map showing the start location will appear, which you can scroll in and out of. For TomTom etc, paste the reference into PostCode Finder and then click on [Lookup Nearest Postcode].
