This circular walk ranges from tranquil water meadows of the river Lea to the cosy fields and woods of Ayot St Lawrence, late home of George Bernhard Shaw and featuring an unusual church. In between these two diverse spots, the walk passes close to a number of notable houses and a wealth of pastoral scenery.
Join me for dinner in the Old Swan afterwards about 7pm. To book your place email Anja by Thursday 6 Aug walks@chilterns2030s.co.uk
